Data disclaimer
Effective date: [TODO: effective date]. Last updated: October 10, 2026 (draft).
[TODO: ...], are filled in before launch.1. Informational only
Informational: verify with the issuing board. ClearLicensed shows state licensing information as general guidance. Renewal cycles, deadlines, CE hours, bond and insurance requirements and board contact details change, often with little notice. They can also differ by license class, county or city. What we show may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Please note that fee amounts are approximate and may be out of date, late fees included, and some boards add processing fees on top. Pay on the board's official site and trust the amount shown there.
Before you pay a fee, send a form or decide that a deadline has not passed, check the issuing board's own website or call the board.
2. Where the data comes from
We read official board websites, fee schedules, forms, rules and statutes, and sometimes reputable secondary sources when an official page cannot be reached. Each license type lists the sources we used, and a confidence level and the date we last checked. We update it when we find a change or someone reports one, but we do not watch every board every day.
3. What the verification labels mean
- Verified: we checked the cited official sources on the date shown.
- Partially verified: some facts could not be confirmed. Those are marked.
- Unverified: we could not confirm most facts. Treat the page as a starting point only.
4. What verified does not mean
A verified label means we checked the sources on that date. It does not mean the information is still current today, that it applies to your exact situation, or that the board agrees with how we read it. When a fact is not published, or we could not confirm it, we write "Not published, check with the board" instead of guessing.
5. Not legal advice, and no board affiliation
ClearLicensed is a product of Softvion Technologies LLC. It is not a law firm, a licensing board, a government agency or an insurance agent. No state board is affiliated with us or endorses us. Nothing on this site or in the Service is legal, tax or insurance advice. We cannot promise that any license will be renewed, accepted or kept in good standing. You are responsible for knowing and meeting your own licensing duties, including renewing before the deadline. For advice about your situation, ask the board or a qualified professional.
6. Reminders
Email reminders can arrive late, land in spam or fail. They depend on the dates you entered. They help you remember a deadline, but they do not make the deadline our responsibility.
7. Managed filing authorization
When you ask for managed filing on a license, you tick an authorization box in the app, and you authorize ClearLicensed and its staff, in writing, to act as your administrative agent for that renewal only. We use the information and documents you give us to prepare and submit the filing to the licensing board, for the license you named and no other. We never ask for your board portal password. You confirm the information is accurate and that you are allowed to submit it.
The board decides whether to accept the renewal and how long it takes, and we cannot promise either. We are not responsible for board fees, late fees, penalties or delays caused by information that was wrong or arrived late, or by the board itself. You can withdraw the authorization at any time by sending a message in the request or by writing to [email protected], and we stop as soon as we read it. Work already submitted to a board stays submitted. The full managed filing terms, including fees and refunds, are in the terms of service.
8. Report a mistake
If you see something wrong, email [email protected] with the page and, if you have one, a link to the board page that shows the right answer. We check every report and fix the record if it is wrong.
