Expired more than 2 years: pass the state plumbing exam, or verify an equivalent active out-of-state license in good standing with proof of active practice in the prior year, or hold a more advanced active Colorado plumbing license. Contractors with expired permits cannot renew until permits are cleared. Journeyworker licenses can be reinstated without re-examination for a holder of an active Colorado master license.
