Refrigeration Contractor (master level) renewal $75 biennial. Contractors with a regular place of business must show the license number on commercial vehicles, offers, invoices, drawings and stationery (528 CMR 11.03). Refrigeration and air-conditioning work is licensed by trade (refrigeration, oil burner, sheet metal, pipefitter), not by a single statewide HVAC license. EPA Section 608 is federal. Sprinkler fitter contractors need $500,000 completed-operations insurance (not a refrigeration requirement).
