RI has no single HVAC license: heating and cooling work is licensed through Pipefitter, Refrigeration/Air Conditioning, Sheet Metal and Fire Protection classes. The Master Mechanical Contractor license covers unlimited heating, cooling and process work. DLT licensees do not also register with the CRLB unless they contract work outside the scope of their license. Online submission does not auto-renew; DLT verifies requirements first.
