Per Contractor Licensing Board: North Carolina and Ohio (Electrical, including Business & Law exam; in effect since 2000) and Tennessee (Electrical) reciprocity agreements exist. Individual electricians must still hold a State Fire Marshal license.

Business-level license in the Electrical classification. A sole proprietor engaged only in electrical contracting who holds a valid electrician license pays $20 instead of $90 (28CSR2 5.4; Division fee schedule).
