Deadline rule
Expires at 12:00 midnight on the day before the anniversary of issuance unless the Board designates otherwise (A.C.A. 17-25-307); the date is on the license. Renewal notices are mailed about 60 days before expiry, but failure to receive one does not excuse late renewal. A renewal is timely only if the completed application is received by the expiration date (17 CAR 255-203).
Show fees, grace period, bond and insurance
Grace period
A timely renewal (received by expiration date) lets the licensee keep using the license until the Board's next meeting. Renewals within 30 days after expiration deem the license reinstated pending Board action but do not cover the gap. After 30 days the applicant has no valid license until the Board approves.
