A complete renewal application, fee and CE proof must be filed on or before the expiration date; the online portal accepts renewals no more than 60 days before expiration. OPLC emails a reminder at least 2 months before, but failure to receive it does not excuse late renewal.
- Renewal cycle
- Every 2 years
- CE hours
- Not required
- Renewal fee
- About $137. Fees change. Check the official site for the exact amount.
- Late fee
- No separate late fee: a renewal filed after expiration but within one year is processed as a reinstatement and the reinstatement fee equals the renewal fee (Plc 1001.13, Table 1002.13).
- Grace period
- None. A license expires if the complete renewal is not filed by the expiration date, and the holder may not work until it is reinstated.
